Nine year old Caine Monroy made a super-detailed cardboard arcade in his dad’s used auto part store. His first customer happened to be filmmaker Nirvan Mullick, who was inspired by Caine’s inventiveness and decided to get Caine a flashmob of customers one Sunday. This is a film about that day.

We loved this video immediately. Even if your kid has seen this on the interwebs or tv already, they might want to see it again. This Beluga Whale is named Juno and lives at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut. And yes, Juno likes mariachi music.

Sea otters usually prey on hard-shelled food — clams, abalones, mussels, crabs… If they’re too hard to crack with their teeth, they’ll smash them open with, or against, a rock. 

This is what this sea otter (Elfin) is doing when he bashes the ice against the rock. He’s after the hidden gems of food frozen within the ice.

The Aquarium’s marine mammal trainers freeze seafood in chunks of ice and give them to the sea otters to play with, so they have a variety of ways to get their food — and it’s just plain fun.
